There was no polite notice when a change occurred that meant I could no longer import my blogs from this site to my website with Wordpress. I just kept on trying, wondering why it wasn't working, until in the end I realised it wasn't me that was at fault.
Why have I posted a photo of my granddaughter on her swing at the beach? Because someone thought they should cut the rope and remove it.
Change happens all the time. Things are taken away that we have got used to.
What will I do? I could just blog on my Wordpress site, but then you wouldn't know that was happening. You would wonder where I've gone. And I would no longer be able to order the nice books that Blogspot will create from my blogs.
So for now, I offer you my Wordpress blog address, and if you would like to follow me there, I'll be so glad to see you:
And if you'd like to receive my Seasons Newsletter, you can sign up on the home page of my website:
Also, I'd love you to check in on my Facebook page, where I post things that you may enjoy:
Do let's stay in touch. For now, I'm keeping this blog open and may post here from time to time.
I'm glad you're with us blogging as always. Yes, things change and more faster as years past. Lovely photo of your granddaughter!
Thank you Nadezda, it's a pleasure to hear from you again.
So glad you're back! I look forward to seeing more of your lovely seasonal celebrations.(When you commented on my blog, I think your name was a hot link that took me to your Google + page.)
Thank you Vicki! Nice to be in touch again.
Yes, time just keeps marching by at ever-increasing speed (or so it seems). How annoying about the post box! You'd think that even with decreasing amounts of mail they could still manage to keep up with the services. I do feel so very sorry for the elderly in our community who have all these levels of services being removed. Recently our Medicare office was shut down without a moment's notice. All the elderly in our area (and there are thousands of them), would walk up to Medicare and hand in their medical receipts etc and have their claims processed. Now the nearest office is a half hour away by car and many of the elderly don't even drive so how can they even get there. It's not good xx
Charlie, how nice to see you here again. It's also nice to see how some of my followers have made their way to my Wordpress site, were I'm now posting: http://www.julietbatten.co.nz/blog/
You are so right about the impact on the elderly. How devastating the closing of the Medicare Office must have been in your area. Not good indeed.
Hi Juliet and of to your wordpress I think Wordpress and Blogspot are competition They make things incompatible. Yes there is change going all all the time that's what I noticed when coming to Holland. More and more is taken over by machines. Scary. I will see you at Wordpress
Marja, thank you, and I'll look forward to seeing you on my wordpress site.
