The holiday is over, and I have returned. But I'm remembering the blazing skies of my last night at the bach.
The rain clouds, that never departed, did scatter a little that evening, and there were just enough of them to create more magical skies.
Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.

Your pictures are breathtaking, Juliet. A sweet goodbye, and I do love that quote, which is now going into my quote book. This is such a lovely way to say farewell to your time at the bach.
Great skies, great sunsets, a prelude to better tomorrows.
Penny, thank you for your kind comments. It's a lovely quote isn't it?
Elisabeth, I love that thought: 'a prelude to better tomorrows'. Thank you.
It's always very special for me to see your photos from Te Henga. Thank you Juliet and may 2012 be full of beauty for you.

Thank you Sue, you know what a special place this is.
Amazing sunset. A wonderful gift of adieu.
A friend of mine wondered if bush fire smoke from Australia was influencing the sunsets in NZ at the moment.
Oh Lynley, I hope not. I thought it was a result of the rainy weather, as the skies have been amazing since mid December.
I also hope the stunning sunsets are caused by the tropically induced weather here and not bush fires.
Your photos are amazing:-)
